Job Posting Tips

Make Your Job Postings More Visible On Google, Yahoo!, Indeed, Beyond
and Other Top Search Engines and Jobs Networks!

Follow these simple tips to increase the visibility of your job
postings and make it easier for top candidates to find you!

1. Don't abbreviate job titles.

Example: If the job is for an Operating Room Nurse, the job title should be "Operating Room Nurse" or "Nurse - Operating Room" or something similar, not just "OR Nurse."

2. Include the chief occupational category and the location of the position in the first sentence of the Job Description.

Continuing the above example, the first sentence in the Job Description section of the job posting would be something like, "An excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room Nurse in a leading medical facility in Atlanta, Georgia."

3. Include the title and keywords in the Job Requirements.

Make sure the first sentence includes the job title and any other relevant key words. Example: We seek a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of Operating Room experience.

4. Use all your reusable job slots - try different titles for the same job.

The best candidates don't always post their resume but they will apply to jobs. Give them multiple opportunities to find your jobs.
